Legendary Homebuilder Arthur Rutenberg Homes
Announces Official Opening of First Model Home in Charlotte at Springfield Community

CHARLOTTE, NC — Arthur Rutenberg Homes’ Charlotte franchise, Paragon Homes of Charlotte, announced today its first Charlotte-area Showcase Model, located at Crescent Resource’s Springfield community in Ft. Mill, is now open to the general public.

The company’s inaugural furnished model, called The Asheville, officially introduces Arthur Rutenberg’s new Southern Design Collection to the Greater Charlotte area and Carolinas region, an important part of the company’s previously announced progressive growth strategy for the area.

“While the 3,916-square foot Asheville model features distinctive French Country-inspired architecture, the home is a quintessential Arthur Rutenberg design, blending fresh and innovative design with function and value.  Situated along Springfield’s 18th green, the home luxuriously merges indoor spaces with its scenic wooded setting.  The expansive two-story model is professionally decorated and showcases today’s newest floor plan trends and conveniences, plus is loaded with the features that buyers expect at much higher prices,” explained Jim Rosewater, co-owner along with Mitch Genda of Paragon Homes of Charlotte.

New Paragon Homes Model Home Demonstrates What Today’s Buyers Want

“At Springfield, our new model home is our first real “store front” in Charlotte.  Now home buyers can walk in and see what we can deliver, and it clearly demonstrates Arthur Rutenberg’s legendary design and craftsmanship.  If buyers love the outdoors and want their homes to embrace the best of outdoor living, they’ll adore these new designs.  No one delivers exceptional design better than Arthur Rutenberg Homes.  It’s our trademark,” stated Rosewater.

As Rosewater further explained, “Contrary to what we’ve been told or read about the market today, home buyers today still want exceptional design and finishes in spacious homes.  They don’t really want to sacrifice aesthetics or functionality. The perception has seen that the only way people can afford homes is by making them smaller.  But this isn’t necessarily true.  Our model clearly lives, looks and feels like a million-dollar home without the million-dollar price tag.”

“We believe customers will be amazed by the value we are delivering.  Our new Southern Design Collection was developed specifically to deliver incredible home designs finished smartly at prices that were considerably higher just a few years ago” he added.

New home designs from the Southern Design Collection range from 2,600 to more than 5,000 square feet, all with an emphasis on customization and competitive pricing.

Already, the Asheville Showcase Model is open seven days a week for public viewing, but will officially grand open during October, at the same time as the Home Builders Association of Charlotte’s annual HomeArama event, located nearby in York County.

Joining the Paragon Homes team as Sales Manager is Richard Teat, a 23-year veteran in the Greater Charlotte area new home market.

Paragon Homes Announces Nine Home Sales Since Model Construction Started

With the official launching of the new model, Paragon Homes proudly announces that it has already sold nine new custom homes since the model was framed – in the communities of Springfield, The Club at Longview, Heron Cove on Lake Wylie and Kingsmead – several of Charlotte’s most prestigious luxury home neighborhoods.

Just 15 months ago, Arthur Rutenberg Homes announced its arrival to the Carolinas and confirmed its Carolinas regional headquarters in Charlotte.

Mitch Genda serves as president of Paragon Homes of Charlotte and is the current vice president of the Home Builders Association of Charlotte.  Co-owner Jim Rosewater further serves as regional vice president for the Arthur Rutenberg Homes’ Carolina Region.

Paragon Homes also offers custom home remodeling and additions services.  The company recently completed a major remodeling project at The Club at Longview for an 8,000 square-foot private residence.  The company will also build custom homes for clients who own their own home sites.

In addition to Springfield, Paragon Homes of Charlotte has become a Featured Builder at The Club at Longview in South Charlotte, Cheval in Mint Hill, an equestrian community, and at the waterfront community of Heron Cove on Lake Wylie.
