Brian Strombotne – Sales Consultant
Mr. Strombotne has spent over 30 years in marketing and sales roles in the construction industry, specifically focused on residential home construction, ‘green’ and sustainable building systems and the application of renewable energy technologies. Before joining Monterey Bay Homes/ Arthur Rutenberg Homes, Brian worked on Net Zero Energy homes in Charleston and post-Katrina housing redevelopment projects that provide high-performance, affordable ‘green’ housing in New Orleans, including structural insulated panel systems (SIPS) for the Make It Right housing project in the Lower 9th Ward.
His career has included positions at Masco Corporation, Owens Corning and BuildNet. At Masco Corporation, Mr. Strombotne acted as a liaison between Masco’s Research and Development division and national production home builders exploring advanced building envelope technologies. Mr. Strombotne helped launch Green Builder Magazine, the leadingnational trade publication on green and sustainable new home building products and practices. Mr. Strombotne holds his MBA from Thunderbird – The American Graduate School of International Management and an undergraduate degree from Hillsdale College. Brian’s son Keith and daughter Alexis live in Raleigh and have blessed him with three grandchildren – Brenden, Jameson and Ellis.
