Catherine Jones (Cat) – Project Manager
Cathrine "Cat" Jones knew in 3rd grade she enjoyed architecture, design and construction. Her parents built a new home and she looked forward to the weekly site visits. Then, in 3rd grade her teacher assigned the class to do a floor plan of their homes. She was hooked! She had notebooks full of home designs she spent hours creating.
When she moved to Raleigh in 1984 she started her career in building at Anderson Homes, a top 100 Builder. After several years she was promoted to Vice President. By 1996 her grasp of the industry lead her to a custom home builder. She went on to run Cady Construction for 16 years as their Vice President. During this time she obtained her General Contractor’s license and rallied her team to build one of the 25 Habitat for Humanity homes in the Builders Blitz. After running ahead of schedule during the week long build, she was able to complete the sidewalk, obtain the final inspections needed and decorate for the family to enjoy Christmas in their new home.
Her path lead her to Arthur Rutenberg Homes in 2014. She continues to use her knowledge of the industry for her clients building their dream homes. Arthur Rutenberg Homes has provided her the opportunity to further her love of architecture, design and construction. In this team based organization she is able to develop and implement the newest benchmarks in technology and design to create the home buyers vision that infuses luxury, comfort and function. In her spare time, Cat and her husband enjoy volunteering at Hope Reins (an equine therapy ranch), hiking and traveling.
