After graduating from UNC-C, he worked in Dallas, Texas within the urban design department of RTKL & Associates. This led to a position with a developer in Greensboro, NC working on a new large master-planned community called Lake Jeanette. The Lake Jeanette experience then led to a relationship starting with David Schenck and Wolfe Homes. The late 1990’s and early 2000’s saw an explosion in the home building industry with an steady increase in scale and complexity of what custom home buyers wanted in their homes. Larry worked for the next 17 years with David and Wolfe Homes designing and building high-end residential construction. With his architectural background, he found it quite easy to guide clients through the sometimes daunting task of designing and crafting their dream homes. Due to the niche in the market that Wolfe Homes commanded, Larry was able to project manager on a dozens of large and stunning custom residences. In 2013, Larry joined David as he started a franchise of Arthur Rutenberg Homes in North Raleigh. In 2014, he was named Building Company President as the Raleigh presence began to grow. His architectural background and Wolfe Homes pedigree still serves Larry today as he leads a seasoned team of professionals building fine luxury homes in the North Raleigh/Wake County market.
